We recently visited our Pine Neck Project to check in and see how things were going and wanted to share some of the progress! The renovation is really coming along; shiplap has been installed & is looking awesome, lighting is in and all of the cabinetry is starting to be installed as well! Lots of exciting changes are starting to take place here.
This kitchen will be refreshed with refined, beautiful finishes. The Oceanside Glass Tile offset bricks in Iridescent Dove will add a subtle hint of color as a backsplash in both the kitchen and adjacent wetbar.
We’re loving the addition of the shiplap on the kitchen peninsula and the fireplace–soon to be paired with Rugged Concrete Caesarstone in place of the bricks!
New fixtures along with recessed cans throughout offer various levels of lighting. Schoolhouse Electric’s Factory Modern No. 4 Pendants have been installed over the peninsula and they’re perfect! This capiz shell flushmount from Pottery Barn is the entryway light, and we’ve updated the exterior with these Urban Barn Lights.
Cabinetry is going in too; everything is coming together and this kitchen will be brought to life in no time!
Here’s a look at some of the other elements going into the space; we can’t way to see the final product of this kitchen–check back for updates!
In our spotlight this week is Sherwin Williams SW9149 Inky Blue. This paint color can be described as a dramatic hue with a nod to coastal relaxation, which is exactly why we’re loving it so much! We’ve pulled together this kitchen scheme for phase 2 of our #ShelterIslandHomeProject with Inky Blue set to be the cabinet color for the island!
(Check out some of our initial inspiration and progress for phase 1 of this project here!)
Here are a few more instances where a bold blue hue became the focal point of the kitchen.
We can’t wait to see Inky Blue pop in our own project!
We recently had our #RowesWharfProject photographed and wanted to share a little insight to behind the scenes (and some sneak peeks!) of what goes into capturing each project. Luckily, the weather was in our favor, bringing lots of beautiful sunlight into the home and reflecting from the Boston Harbor below.
We select fresh flowers to bring the day of the shoot; for this one we used eucalyptus, hydrangea, and ranunculus. (It was 20 degrees that day but those flowers sure had us thinking spring!)
Getting the perfect shot always takes some tweaking — making sure a rug is perfectly straight, fluffing pillows, or adjusting items on the shelves to be just where we want them.
Here are a few sneak peeks of some of our favorite shots–be sure to check back soon for the final reveal!
What we’re loving this week: Emtek Urban Modern Hex cabinet pulls and knobs! The geometric form paired with the brass finish perfectly complements a scheme we’ve pulled together for an in-the-works project!
Here are a few shots of these beauties in other installations!
Check back to see what we’re loving next week!
We’re excited to see things really starting to come together at our project in Rye, NH! Walls are painted, floors are in and looking beautiful and we’re just about ready to start accepting furniture deliveries. The homeowners will be able to enjoy those gorgeous beach views in no time! Check back here to see some of our initial inspiration from about a year ago, and see how far it’s come with the most current progress photos below!
Here’s what’s going on in when you first walk into the main entrance of the house. The floor detail in the foyer as well as the detail in the woodwork are looking so beautiful. Archways flanking the double-sided fireplace open up to the dining room, a powder room is tucked in behind the coat closets and just beyond that opening is where the main staircase is!
Let there be light! Some of the light fixtures have been installed and are looking awesome.
(And that ceiling detail?! We’re obsessed!)
We’re loving everything about this game room–the shiplap, the lighting on the wetbar, the custom cabinetry in the perfect shade of blue, the beautiful floors, and again, that ceiling!
We’re getting down to the small (yet important!) details–we recently chose hardware for the entire house and can’t wait to see it all installed!
It doesn’t get much better than the views from this master bedroom (or from anywhere in the house, really!) Just imagine soaking it all in from the chaise lounges that are going to be over by those windows…
Here are a few more shots of what’s been going on in this home; stay tuned for more updates and the final reveal!
